[edit] How to get on the occupy.net home page

There are a few ways we can pull in your content:

  1. Anything added to http://campaigns.occupy.net/ gets pulled into the occupy.net home page. Set up your campaigns individually there, and they'll each appear as a little yellow box on occupy.net.
  1. Dedicated RSS feeds can be pulled in through our (in-progress) admin. If you're able to set up a specific category of focused occupy.net posts on your site, you can send us the link to that category's RSS feed.
  1. occupybigpicture.tumblr.com and occupydetails.tumblr.com provide some of the picture posts for the page. We're always looking for volunteers to help contribute great images to those tumblrs...

"A collection of tools for activists worldwide"

[edit] Text Content

Occupy.net provides people with software tools that align with the values of the #occupy movement. All of the tools offered through Occupy.net are free/libre/opensource, which means they're part of the global information commons and are maintained by communities, not corporations.

A distributed team of designers, developers and technologists maintain these tools so activists don't have to compromise their values when they use the internet. If you'd like to help provide a complete set of FLO tools to this project, please tell us about yourself by filling out this form.

The Occupy Network

Welcome

Occupy.net provides people with software tools that align with the values of the #occupy movement. All of the tools offered through Occupy.net are free/libre/open source, which means they're part of the global information commons and maintained by communities, not corporations.

If you'd like to help manage a free/libre/open source tool for the occupy community, please tell us about yourself.

What is Occupy?

It's more than just peaceful assemblies. When we occupy a space, or a topic, we spotlight it. We encourage people to investigate, understand, act, and change it.

What do you want to occupy?

Alt version

Occupy is more than a "protest movement", its an opportunity for people who believe that a "better world is possible" to prove it by making that world palpable. Every occupied space is an invitation for people to investigate problems and experience what it's like to be part of the solution.

See Occupy.net Services for tool copy.
